THE BEST PARTY ROCKEN FRIDAY EVER!!!!!!

Waking up, with a new beautiful day, knowing it was going to be THE BEST PARTY ROCKIN' FRIDAY EVER!

I was super ready for school because it was the last...for term. We did not learn anything, but how to watch two movies from morning to lunch.  After that it was an awesome school party.  I knew to not eat sugar for an other week because we had lots and lots of candy and junk food.  I still ate sugar at the next party, which was a girl in my class's birthday party.   It was the classic Braeburn girl party (everyone does the same thing),  at the White sands Hotel,  they always have the worst/meanest  people to look after you and they never let you do anything fun. You always have to do the stupid games they want to do.  Its still kind of fun because all my friends were there and we got to swim in the pool and have lots of food and sodas.  I also learned an important lesson,  never bully.  I learned that because the birthday girl was getting bullied by an inpatient boy who pushed her and she fell down the slide and she hit her head badly.
Well... I guess that's it... not that exciting... oh wait, my birthday party!  How could I forget!
I invited Reiss, Jake, Philip, Zharan and Carol. I had the best GUYS NIGHT OUT ever.  That's right,  guys night.  We went to the movies (cloudy of a chance of meatballs 2).  Then we went bowling,  then we went to eat at Roberto's.  That's were I got my t-shirt that's says, "Awesome Everett Worlds Best Trainer" from Ben and Natasha. I love it!  Luckily Reiss and Jake got to sleep over.  We stayed up all night and played with my new toys, we watched TV and I even took them to the gym to train them.  After all that, the next day we had a hang over.  It was a really great birthday!

I'm Bringing Suga Back

By Porter Fairbourne

So I started up the one and only Suga Rush again. If this name sounds unfamiliar, than your ether really old or just a looser. This is a company that I started with some friends in Hobble Creek Canyon. I was selling it at our school for about a week until the unthinkable happened,  the principal  himself told us that we could not continue Suga Rush so our company was finished after only one week. The worst part was, I barely got out with 100$.  Yet it came to pass, that here in Kenya a new market approaches.  A new school, so I got a sales team together and they were ready to sell. The only problem was that I only had a little bit of the ?secret? ingredient that my mom gave me for my birthday.  People loved it, they were buying it like crazy.  Before I knew it, I was out.  Luckily, I already had lots more of the secret ingredient coming from America and I got back in business quick. The really cool thing is the kids love it. I've been making tons of money, and my Dad says that maybe one day he will buy my company from me!

Camping trip

As soon as school got out went camping for three days.  It was a really fun camping trip.  It was full of excitement and fun. When we arrived,  it was around one p.m. and it was really hot.  The beach was beautiful and the ocean was even more beautiful.  It was way out and you could see the coral stretch out really far.  We started to set up our tents as my dad blew up our stand up paddle board, then he and drove away and left us there (my dad doesn't like to miss work).  I stayed in a tent with all of the girls, Natasha, Lorna, Tatyana, and Philine. I realized not to ever stay in a tent with  a bunch of girls.  All night it was all chit chat and gossip while I was trying to sleep in the hot humid air, swarmed with groups of mosquitos.  To make matters worse, it started to rain! The rain started to come in our tent, and some of the girls when into the boys tent, but they had water in their tent. I was so happy it was morning.  When morning came we had breakfast.  Quickly we got on our swimsuits then we got blocked up before the sun shone on our faces and burnt our cheeks. As every one got a boogie board and swam out to the waves me and Everett were left without a board so we got in the ocean and then the dogs from our campsite got in the water and started to swim with us. They were jumping on our shoulders and licking our faces. Soon enough, my mom came to get me to help her bury treasure for a treasure hunt.  As we were putting out the clues some dude asked us what we were doing and we said we are burying treasure for a treasure hunt for the kids.  As we walked back to our campsite every one was back from boogie boarding and we had lunch. After lunch we did the treasure hunt. We gave them the first clue, which soon led them to the treasure. Once they figured out where it was, everyone started to dig.  It wasn't there!  The dude must have dug it up and took it!  We were all really sad because we all really would have loved the treasure (treasure=Rainbow belts candy). We all went back to the ocean. After that,  another one of our friends showed up, everyone was happy, then we played down by the banks. Then we got the idea to go down to these coral caves where there was a small pool of ocean water deep enough to jump off the coral cliffs into.  So then we all started to jump.  As the tide started to come up we had to go back to the campsite. My mom then got out all of the Scoobys  (like boondoggle) then we all started to Scooby.  Lorna soon went and asked these other campers if we could use their hammocks, and they said yes so they started to swing in the hammocks.  It got violent as they started to lay in the hammocks and swing into each other. We all started to get bored so we thought about a beach walk to build up our appetite for dinner. But me Natasha and Melia didn't want to go so we went on the paddle board. As we went we sang camping songs.  My mom noticed us and then she and Natasha's mom wanted us to come back because we were to far away. On our way back there was a group of Kenyan teenagers in the water.  We passed and they started to follow us.  As they started to hold on to the back of the paddle board screaming,  "give us ride! give us ride! give us ride!" We started to tell them no, and they started throwing sand at us and kept following us no matter what we said.  Eventually, Natasha's mom came up to them and started to scream at them in Swahili then they all left. We got out of the water as quick as we could then hurried to shower. After the shower we were surprisingly really late for dinner. We had a bomb fire and a dance competition.  We also made s'mores.  Most of the kids had never had a s'more.
I soon got really tired and went to sleep but this time in my moms tent. Early that morning I went paddle boarding with my mom.  After lunch my dad came and and picked us up, it was time to go home.  It was a really fun trip.  Its weird that its december and Christmas time because it doesn't feel like it at all!

Kenyan Christmas Tree

By Porter Fairbourne

Once upon a time there was a Fairbourne family who needed a Christmas tree so they went to Haller Park (its kinda like a zoo with lots of trees and grass and water and stuff )  So they asked a worker where they could cut a tree down. He showed us the way. I was riding in the tuk tuk (he would transport the tree to our house. The worker was in the car with my family, leading us the way and then we stopped. I got out of the tuk tuk and we walked into the forest. We saw the biggest Charley Brown Christmas tree ever. Then we told the worker we want that one and he went up and with four big saw motions he cut down the tree. Then he lifted it up and put it on his shoulder and carried to the tuk tuk and put it into the back.

We all got into the car and the tuk tuk followed us home.  A hour or so later we started putting lights on it that our friend  brought from the US. So we got them on and they looked so good for about 2 minutes.  When they turned off apparently the flow of electricity was different here so they burned out. So mother went out to the store and bought some lights here. She put them on and it took a while to get them to work and then to stop twinkling (she hates twinkling lights) then we hung stuff on it and it looked wonderful.  We opened the doors to the balcony to let some air come in and the wind blew the Christmas tree over.  The water from the
tree was everywhere.  The ornaments fell off the lights turned off.  By then my mom was to tired to do it all again, she didn't even want to come out of her room.  We were all kind off bummed, but my mom set it up the next day while we were at school and we all lived a Merry Christmas.

My Braeburn Business

I have a business with some kids in my class. I am in a club called the Young Enterprise Club. We have it every Wednesday after school (for an activity at school). Our business is a lemonade stand called Lemonade Love, and our slogan is "keep calm and love lemonade".  I designed this poster on my computer. We had to do lots of stuff before we could start selling. We had to a whole lot of work first. We had to do stuff like, find out what our name will be,  and what ingredients we needed to make the lemonade and stuff like that.  One day after school we finally got to open. We did sell and we sold it great. We had lots of people in line for the lemonade.  We sold out in 30 minutes and made over 5000 shillings profit! We are going to give all the money to charity. We are going to sell again at the school Christmas fair.

Rounders in Niarobi

About a week ago me and my friends went to Nairobi to play in the Hillcrest Rounders tournament. For those of you who don't know,  Rounders is a sport that is kind of like softball, but you don't use mitts.  We stayed in a hotel called, Bush Camp. In my room there was two bunk beds and two beds. We were super crammed in a room. The day of the tournament we went to Hillcrest the school to play four different schools. The first school we played was Braeburn Nairobi. We won them by a half a rounder (a rounder is a point). The second school we played was Brook House.  We were loosing in the beginning,  but in the end Elaine hit the ball really far.  She ran right into someone, slipped, did a summersault, and hit fourth post. Plus, she scored a rounder and a half for the other time causing obstruction. We ended up winning them by one rounder!  The third school we played was Peponi. Sadly, we lost to them, but in the end they won the whole tournament. So we knew they were a really tough school. The fourth school we played was Pembroke.  We only lost to them by three rounders so it wasn't a huge loss, but they were also a really tough school. In the end, we all got cool rounders t-shirts with all of the schools on them. I really loved spending time with my friends and I'm looking forward to next years rounders tournaments.

The Priesthood is Legit

So last Sunday received the great present of the Priesthood.  I haven't really used the priesthood yet, but I will.  I will get to when I get to pass out the sacrament at church. It is more than that, the Priesthood is the power and authority to act in God's name.  Now that is awesome.  You may think it is just some invisible thing they are magically sticking in my head, but I am telling you it's not.  It's a blessing.  So I can start being called a deacon and use the power and authority to act in God's name, and that is legit.

The day we got our stuff from America / aka: (heaven)

So on Friday I got home from school all excited and ready for the stuff.  My dad's friend came from America and he brought us 5 bags full of stuff from America.  When I walked in, my dad showed me through all the stuff.  What I got was a bag of candy from Granny and a skim board from my mom and a fourth generation waterproof case, even though my iPod is 5 generation. Oh well, I gave it to Alta. All of the rest of the stuff was for Eve and Alta and Mom and Dad. I tried skim boarding on the weekend and it is hard! I can only go like four inches but I am trying.  I ate like four pieces of candy and now saving it.  Everett already ate all of his candy.  My mom got lots of candy sent too, but we are using it for gift bags for my birthday.  I am excited to share all this American candy with my friends.  It was exciting to see all the stuff.  My mom was the most excited.

A Happy African Halloween

It's Halloween and the Fairbourne's had a great time. We made our costumes at the very last moment. I was a headless man, Alta was a zombie bride, and Porter was a head on a plate.  Everybody thought my costume was awesome!  I know that because everyone would say "hey can I get your picture " or "oh my gosh, that's creepy" also " I thought that was real!" and stuff like that. Alta's was freaky good. She looked as scary as real zombie, I even saw a little girl look at her and run away in fright. Porter's was awesome! It had salad around his neck to make it look like dinner, and under his costume was a zombie costume so he had two costumes.
We had a party at our school. there were games, food, and drinks. but I had to take off my costume to play the games. The school was going to do a contest of the best costumes and I won!
Later that night there was a Halloween Party by the pool at our apartment.  It was all decorated for Halloween, and everyone brought Halloween food.  We hit a piñata that looked like a pumpkin, but it wouldn't break.  Then we went trick-or-treating..  The trick and treating was not the same! It was boring. We had to stay in a straight line and be quiet to get candy. I thought there wasn't going to be any trick or treating in Africa, but I guess there is.  Petronilla, our housekeeper, never heard of Halloween and she thought it was really weird that we dressed up so scary. I hoped you guys had a Happy Halloween too!

Back to the Shamba La Salama

Shamba la Salama
I don't know if I told you about how we got to go to my grandma's house called, the Shamba in Africa.  We lived there before we could move in to the house that we live in now.  Well we got to go back to the Shamba with my family and all the people that are working on my dad's business.  On Friday I woke up (thinking it was Friday) I did everything I had to do like any other day.  Then I went to school and got ready for my big assembly.  After that...  instead of staying at school my mom took us to . . . . THE SHAMBA!!!!!!!!! I didn't want to go because I was going to do fun stuff at school, but I had to. It was a boring, long ride there and when we got there I was so bored! but later that day, everyone went to the beach. There was a girl named Rachel (she works with my Dad) and she didn't like going in the water like me.  So I got a coconut and she got some sticks and we built a coconut bowling ally. I made the gutters and she made the pathway. it was finished and it was awesome.  After that we played it for a long time.  It felt like real bowling!

Then we ate and I went to sleep inside a tent with Porter.

The next day, I was so excited to go back to the beach, but this time to coconut bowl. When we went back out to coconut bowl, my dad also brought a kite, a huge kite. I couldn't bowl in the same place because of the kite. so we had  to do it sideways. That wasn't as fun.

but after that they buried me alive.  No, I mean they dug a hole and put me in it and turned me into a muscle man! Then it got late and we went to sleep. The next day we left.  It was more fun then I expected it to be.

West Gate Attack

About a month ago, Westgate (which is a name of a big mall in Nairobi) was attacked by group of people called the Al Shabaab.  They went in with huge guns into the Nakumett stores and started to shoot.  They kept hostages in there for about five days. The person which made this happen is a woman called the white widow. When I heard this news for the first time, it was about a month ago. It shocked me that someone would do such a thing. At school at the assemblies the teachers would give a moment of silence for those who died.  My cousins were going to come to Kenya and visit, but because of the Westgate attack, they decided not to come because their dad was worried is wasn't going to be safe. I was really sad when my cousins weren't coming, because I know its safe here.  I think it was only a one time thing in Kenya (that means you America you're their next target) I feel really safe were I am living now, but I don't feel so safe in Nakumett anymore (by the way Nakumett is a grocery store like Wal-Mart) or on the streets. My life hasn't really changed since the attacks.  Everyone seemed to be worried at home, but I wasn't worried, I was just sad. Kenya is a really nice place and I'm not afraid of dying so why not just live life how it is.

book day📖

At school we got to have a fun day called Book Day.  Book Day is a day where we got to dress up as our favorite book character.  I don't think that much people got the message, because lots of people dressed up as movie character, like Superman, Green Arrow, Star Wars Guy, Thor, and stuff like that.  Alta dressed up as the bunny, Edward Tulane, from the book, "The Miraculous Adventures of Edward Tulane".  I dressed up as Tom Sawyer. Porter didn't get to dress up because it was only for Primary School. Alta got a special award for having the best costume in her class, even though she thought it was horrible. I thought Reis would get it because he had the best costume. He was Harry Potter.  Not one person knew who Tom Sawyer was, and that is one of the most famous books in America!  My mom was shocked by that.

Fairbourne Family 14th Anniversary

This week is my parents 14th wedding anniversary, so we decided to go to this beach at the Serena Beach Hotel.  We were there all day and it was super fun. First, we started to make a snowman (sandman). We worked on it for like an hour.  We piled up a big pile of sand and packed it really well.  Then we made eyes and a nose and a mouth with seashells and seaweed. I think it turned out super cool. We made in remembrance of the snow in Utah. Natasha, Ben and I went snorkeling and we saw some pretty cool fish.  We got super hungry, so we ordered some pizza, fish and chips for lunch from the Hotel. We started to play some Frisbee and tried to dive to catch them. My dad wanted us to do some races after that so we all lined up. The first one I came in first. The second one I got third because the first one we were staggered and the second one we were perfectly lined up. After we raced the second one my dad flipped up a blue bubble jelly fish on accident.  It started to sting him all of his leg. We went back up to our table and looked at his leg.  It looked like someone whipped him. So we ordered some ice-cream to make it feel better.

When we were done, we noticed that a camel was laying right next to our sandman.  So we decided to go on a camel ride, it was FUN!

When we went home, I realized I got a real dark red sunburn on my back, did not even think of sun screen that whole time. I was having so much fun. I really loved it that day and I really enjoyed the camel ride I love trying new things like that it was really fun.

Update on Porter

Porter at a party at with his friends
I have settled in pretty good. I got a good part in the after school play, "Greece". I have an American accent, so I pretty much got a really good part. In "Greece"  I am Doody. I have plenty of friends, everybody knows me because of my awesome speech and my name, they think it is awesome.

My friends have parties here all the time. I have been to two already and have been invited to three more. It's weird,  in Utah when you go to a party you only go to your best friends party

The New Me

About 5 weeks ago, I decided I should do a new work out.  So I did.  Now every two days I go to the gym at night and work out, I do it with my dad's friend named Ben, he taught me something really important.  When you work out you say the things you want to happen, for example when you lift the weights you say, "awesome", "chicks", "hot girls", "cookies". I want to work out because girls dig it, I know that because the day after I worked out, a hot girl gave me a love note.  It said, Dear Everett, I love your sense of humor and you are so funny and nice.  love, ----------. The next day I got one that said Dear Everett I love you and you are great to be around. love, ---------.  My workouts are really paying off!

Mukuti Grill Dinner

This Monday my family and my dad's employees came to a restaurant with us called Mukati Grill. My dad rented the whole place, so there was a buffet of lots of different African foods. Once we all sat down and started to eat there was this annoying chicken that was hanging out around the table.  Out of no where it jumped on the table and stepped on Bens and Porters plates of food!  It was disgusting, so they got new plates of food. Then when they sat down we started to talk again and then one of my dad's  employees (McKenna) spilled her drink and it all most got on my dad, but he jumped so fast,  Not even a drop touched him, but it did get all over food but he didn't  really care. I really love going to hotelis in Africa because the food is a lot better than in a fancy, expensive restaurant.  Although, in those restaurants, chickens don't just walk in and try to eat your food.  I really love Africa and how it is so different then America.

the day I got student council

At school our family is doing good and doing our best.  One day, I got.... student council !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The day we were voting the girls went first.  There was 7 girls who threw their names in,.  The winner is....... Lois!!!  Now for the boys there were 4 boys including me who were running there. I was a little nervous but the winner is ..... me!!!!!! There were 17 girls and 13 voted for me, so it made me wonder, why me? why did almost everybody vote for me? So during lunch I asked a girl who voted for me, and she said, "because I like you" then I said "oh.. well bye" and I asked all the girls that voted for me and they all said "I like you."
Then I realized, what do you do in student council? nobody told me! My teacher said, "you'll see, you'll see."  I haven't seen yet.  All I know is that its going to be freaking awesome.  I think I'll do good and make everybody happy by doing it, and Lois will do really good too.

Respect Day

Respect day was at our school to teach us how to respect the environments and others. Respect day is a day where we learn how to respect the environment and everybody. I think respect day was very respectably fun. Because we played games about being respectful. I got to dress up in garbage as a garbage model and I was super awesome. because I looked good for a garbage model. I also planted corn and we made signs with our hands.  We learned how to dance it was a left row then a right row we would punch the sky and stuff it was fun. We also learned how to work as a team. I was having a great time as vice captain of simba. I learned how to respect the environment.

Motorcycle

This week my dad, Porter, and Everett and I went on a fun motorcycle ride to hoteli called Makuti Grill. It is common in Africa for lots of people to cram on one motorcycle and ride. On the way it started to rain and I was in between my dad and Porter. Everett was in the very front. I was really hot so it cooled me down but it soaked Everett because he was in the front. The roads were really slippery so it was kind of scary but it was still really fun. Out of no where it stopped raining and the roads were completely dry.  So we sped up and when we got there we were all wet and it was not wet outside there because it did not rain there . So it kind of seemed like we were sweating. Everyone was staring at us and looking at us funny.  Then we ordered chapati na maharagwe and Ben and my mom showed up in the car and we were already eating. I really liked riding the motorcycle because I felt like a real African.

How to be Awesome

Awesome Everett
I told you how I made friends with a kid on the first day of school. One day another kid came back to school after missing the first week.  He was my new friends old BFF.  So I knew I had to make my friend think I was still his BFF.  I tried to be nice, do everything he wanted to do, but this kid was too good, way too good, but I was still in the game.  I went up, then down,  but he was still beating me. Not just on friendship,  but also in awesomeness.  He was getting more popular each hour. I knew I was going to be a goner.  I still was trying harder and harder.  I'd never let him beat me on awesomeness, but while I was trying to be awesome, he beat me on my friendship with my new pal. My new friend was playing with him all recess long.  I tried to play with them but it didn't work, and having friends one of the biggest steps of being awesome.   I thought,  I am awesome Everett Fairbourne, I can do this!  I'm master of being awesome!  I finished all the steps of being awesome.
1.have friends
2. be popular
3. be funny
4. do awesome tricks
5.be nice
 6. have a girlfriend

I have done all this, but back to the story. I saw every body laughing at his jokes and that was the last straw I've got to step up my game.  When I was walking outside at recess I saw them together having the best time of there lives.  At first, I got angry, but then I realized that it looked just like me and Cole, my BFF in America.  They were having fun, doing their own thing.  I miss Cole so much and I remembered how much fun we had.  So I just left them alone.  I  didn't want to ruin their fun that would be un-awesome so I walked away.  Then I realized,  I'm awesome Everett Fairbourne! I'm totally awesome!  I fit in great with these awesome dudes!   One day later,  I was the most awesome/funny kid in the class.  I have lots of friends and I have a secret girlfriend.  So I'm still Awesome Everett Fairbourne.  It turns out that now both of them are my really good friends.  So actually everything turned out good.

my sunday talk

Bamburi Branch Primary
This Sunday me and my family are all going to talk in sacrament I am really exited about it and I thought that I could share it with you,  this is what I wrote.

Hello, my name is Alta and I am ten years old and I have been asked to talk this Sunday and I chose to talk about choosing the right.  I know that Heavenly Father, and Jesus want us to Choose the Right so we can come live with them again. When we choose the right we are blessed with many things like the Holy Ghost. I have a story I would like to tell you about someone who chose the right. I will start with Abinadi the prophet who bore his testimony to wicked king Noah. In his testimony he said "Behold, thus saith the Lord and thus hath He commanded me, saying go forth and say unto this people thus saith the Lord -wo be unto this people for I have seen their abominations and their wickedness and their whoredoms and except they repent I will visit them in mine anger and except they repent and turn to Lord thy God Behold, I will deliver them into the hands of their enemies that they should be brought into bondage and they shall be afflicted by  the hand of their enemies "  and when Abinadi was done with his testimony he knew his words would his life away. When wicked King Noah heard these words he said "Who is Abinadi that I and my people are being judged of and who is the Lord who gives people such great affliction?" "I command you to bring Abinadi forth that I may slay him for what he saith." As you can see Abinadi chose the right and bore his testimony unto King Noah even though he knew he was going to be killed, because he wants to obey Heavenly Father and choose the right, He also wants to be blessed by choosing the right.  It is not always easy but we still want to choose the right because it makes Heavenly Father and Jesus very happy.  In Alma 9:13,  it says "insomuch as ye keeps my commandments ye shall prosper in the land and again it is said insomuch that ye shall not keep my commandments ye shall be cut off of the presence of the Lord" Like the scripture said, if you don't choose the right you won't be blessed and you will not be able to live with them again. Here is another story about Jonah the prophet who messed up and disobeyed Heavenly Father. One day Jonah was called bye God to go to Nineveh to preach unto the people and make them repent but he did not want to go. So he fled on to a boat, but then God sent wind and the boat sunk and Jonah was thrown over board into the sea where he was swallowed by a huge fish.  Jonah was in his stomach for three nights and three days. Soon Jonah repented and he was spit out from the big fish and he went Nineveh and preached unto the people. When Jonah disobeyed God he was not blessed with the safety on the boat and he was thrown over board. If we don't choose the right, we won't be blessed. But it is ok because we can always repent and Heavenly father and Jesus will always forgive us.  I know that we should choose the right for a reason and I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus want us to choose the right and repent and live with them again I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen

THE ELECTION

I Porter Fairbourne was elected Vice Captain in House Simba at school.  So this is how it went down, I was in class when our teacher said we have a assembly meeting.  So we all got up and walked down to the assembly hall.  They told us to go to a room to decide who would be the Captains and the Vice Captain of Simba House.   At first I was pretty bored, until the teacher said, "who wants to be captain for the boys?" Then he said usually its year 10 and up so I didn't raise my hand,  but when he asked, "who wants to be vice?" Then he said again its usually year 10 and up but I still rose my hand.  He said come up all people who want to be vice and give a speech.  There were 10 of us who wanted to run. I knew I was pro in speeches so I got up there and said, "my name's Porter and I am running for Vice Captain.  I know that Simba is a great team.  We have won in a lot of things, but we lost last year in cricket and hockey, but not this year.  The other houses got nothing on us! We will beat them in every sport! Then I pointed to the sky and walked off. Everybody was clapping, my speech dominated everybody else's speech.  So the votes came down between me and a guy from Year 12 (like a junior) .  I got twice as many votes than him and I won!  I am the youngest person to ever be elected the vice captain.

first day of school

The first day of  school was fun. When I first walked in the room my teacher (Mr. Fisher) came up to me and asked my name and shook my hand. I sat down at a table then class started and Mr. fisher paired me up with this girl named Anna and she showed me around. Then at recess I played with Anna and her friend Ruth and we became friends.  When we went back in the class room we made name tags for our desks.  Then we went to assembly for the first day of school. After the assembly we went to lunch we had chapati and meat. After lunch we went to recess and I played rounders with some girls in my class Jade, Kirsty, Elaine, Lena, Ruth and Anna.  After recess, we did some other things then we went home. I really think Braeburn is really fun and there is a lot of nice and fun people and there is great teachers I am looking forward to going to secondary school next year (junior High).

My first Day of school

My first day of school was awesome! It was like I was already there for three years.  I felt like I knew everybody and we all were just fine.  We met all of our new high school teachers and I started taking Kiswahili. There are 19 people in year 7 so that is my whole grade. So it was just a pretty awesome day, but then it got even better.  The lunch there isn't just slop on a plate.  It's really really good food! We had chapati and nyama (roasted meat).  You know what? that might have been the best part of my day and then I continued on as a really really good day.
